Interactive games for the Digital Board

Hi all of you!

this post is to share with you some links to two very interesting webpages that you can use to give some use to your digital board. I know sometimes we don't know how to get our students to participate and take advantage of that wonderful tool some of us have in class: the digital board. Here are the two webpages I use the most:

- Games to learn English: in this webpage you will find different game types to practice vocabulary, grammar, word order and spelling. For example, if you click on Fast hands, you'll find a variety of vocabulary games assorted by cathegories where the aim is to click on the image of the animal, object or thing is pronunced before you run out of time. It's fun! There are many other games like the typical Hangman or a Concentration game where you have to match words and images using your memory. Enjoy!

- Eslgamesplus:this is a veeeery complete webpage where you can find many resources for ESL teachers. One of them is the big variety of interactive games it offers. If you click on Games you will see how many they offer. There are classroom games, really good to play in groups in the class, memory games, to play in pairs or also in groups and where they learn not only vocabulary but also pronunciation, boardgames... But the good thing of it is that they are really well structured in levels and contents. So, imagine you are studying numbers 1 to 50 with your students in class, there is a boardgame to practice just that. As I said, they also share printable materials, videos and many online games so.. I believe it's worth it having a look!

Well, that's all for now, I hope you enjoy the two webpages and maybe you can add some more to the list. I'm eager to read your comments!

Have a nice day!

Marisa
